Peer Leadership Training – Mayfield, Cork

ConnectWell is inviting applications for our upcoming Peer Leadership Training Programme in Mayfield, Cork.

This free training is for adults aged 18+ who are interested in peer support and would like to learn more about helping to co-facilitate a community-based Peer Support Group.

Peer Support Groups provide a welcoming and equal space where people can connect, share experiences and support one another. Peer Leaders help create and maintain that space, working alongside another Peer Leader — Peer Leaders do not facilitate groups alone.

No professional experience or qualifications are required. We welcome people with lived experience, empathy, an interest in recovery and wellbeing, and a willingness to learn. The training focuses on developing the skills and confidence needed to support an inclusive, respectful and community-based peer group.

Training Details: The programme will take place at Mayfield CDP, Cork, T23 CX7D, from 10am–1pm on October 16th & 23rd, November 13th & 20th, and December 11th 2026. The programme is free to attend.

The closing date for applications is 25 September 2026. Places are limited and applications may close earlier if capacity is reached, so early application is encouraged.
