The Wellbeing & Recovery College is a new initiative of IRD Duhallow and the Rural Community Health Project. The first of its kind in Cork or Kerry, the Wellbeing & Recovery College is based on the models of recovery education operating successfully elsewhere in the country for many years.

The college utilises adult education as a method of addressing mental health issues in our community. It is the mix of perspectives and experiences that makes a service like this work so everyone is welcome to attend, whether they have lived experience of mental health issues, are friends/family members of someone who does, a community member looking to learn more or a professional working in a related field.

The Wellbeing & Recovery College launches on September 18th at 10am, at the James O'Keeffe Institute, Demesne, Newmarket, Co. Cork. P51 C5YF, it is available to everyone over the age of 18, and is free to attend.

You can read more about the Wellbeing & Recovery College by clicking the link below. The college timetable is also attached.
