This year's theme is "Mental Health at Work," shining a spotlight on the importance of creating supportive, inclusive environments where everyone can thrive. Whether you're an employer or an employee, it’s vital to recognise that mental health matters just as much as physical health. This year’s theme reminds us that no one should face their struggles alone. Whether you're seeking help or offering support, your mental health matters.

💬 What can we do?

  • Foster open conversations about mental well-being.

  • Encourage flexible working conditions and support systems.

  • Promote access to mental health resources and peer support.

Let’s come together to create workplaces that prioritise wellness, so we can all work better, live healthier, and support one another.

It’s time to break the stigma, support each other, and make mental wellness a global priority.

Join our one of our Peer Support Groups to learn more about mental health strategies.

Let’s talk, listen, and create a world where everyone can thrive. 💙

🗓️ Date: September 10th

📢 Theme: ‘Change the Narrative’ & #StartTheConversation

The global call to action for World Suicide Prevention Day 2024 is to ‘Change the Narrative’ and #StartTheConversation. The aim is to inspire individuals, communities, organisations, and governments to engage in open and honest discussions about suicide. By initiating these vital conversations, we can break down barriers, raise awareness, and create better cultures of understanding and support.

Suicide is a major public health challenge, with more than 700,000 deaths each year globally. Each suicide has far-reaching social, emotional, and economic consequences, and deeply affects individuals and communities worldwide. Together, we can inspire change and build better cultures of care and compassion. Remember, your voice can make a difference! Let's #StartTheConversation and work towards a world where everyone feels supported.
