The Wellbeing & Recovery College is a new initiative of IRD Duhallow and the Rural Community Health Project. The first of its kind in Cork or Kerry, the Wellbeing & Recovery College is based on the models of recovery education operating successfully elsewhere in the country for many years.

The college utilises adult education as a method of addressing mental health issues in our community. It is the mix of perspectives and experiences that makes a service like this work so everyone is welcome to attend, whether they have lived experience of mental health issues, are friends/family members of someone who does, a community member looking to learn more or a professional working in a related field.

The Wellbeing & Recovery College launches on September 18th at 10am, at the James O'Keeffe Institute, Demesne, Newmarket, Co. Cork. P51 C5YF, it is available to everyone over the age of 18, and is free to attend.

You can read more about the Wellbeing & Recovery College by clicking the link below. The college timetable is also attached.

As many of you already know, after thoughtful reflection and in-depth conversations about who we are and what we stand for, Kerry Peer Support Network is now trading under a new name: Connect Well.

This fresh identity marks an exciting new chapter for us—one that better captures our heart and purpose: building real connections, offering meaningful support, and empowering recovery in our communities.

To go along with our new name, we’re giving our website a full refresh —including a new domain: www.connectwell.ie.

Behind the scenes, we’re still putting the finishing touches on everything, so for now, you can continue to find us at www.kerrypeersupportnetwork.ie—but we’ll let you know as soon as the new site goes live! We can’t wait to share it with you—and we’re confident you’ll love what’s coming.

Stay tuned... we’ll be going live very soon!
