At ConnectWell, we believe in the power of lived experience. Our Peer-led Support Groups provide safe spaces where people can connect, share, and support one another on their mental health journey. We offer Peer Support Groups, Training, and Recovery Education.

How We Can Support You:

  • Peer Support Groups –  Free, informal, and non-judgmental spaces across Cork & Kerry.

  • Training & Workshops – Learn tools for mental well-being, including W.R.A.P® and Peer Leadership.

  • Recovery Education – Helping people build self-awareness, explore self-discovery, and develop practical coping strategies.

At ConnectWell, we embrace the following principles:

  • Connect – Build supportive relationships with others on their recovery journey.

  • Hope – See that recovery is possible through shared experiences.

  • Identify – Find understanding and reassurance among people with similar life experiences.

  • Meaning – Discover purpose through connection, sharing, and helping others.

  • Empower – Gain knowledge, confidence, and self-responsibility for mental well-being.

WRAP® (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) is an internationally recognised, evidence-based programme rooted in lived experience. It was developed by Mary Ellen Copeland as part of her personal journey toward wellness and has since empowered people across the world to take charge of their mental health.

At ConnectWell, our facilitators are trained and accredited by Advocates for Human Potential (A.H.P.) to deliver co-facilitated WRAP® workshops (Seminars I, II, and III) throughout Ireland.

These workshops are open to everyone - whether you're navigating a mental health challenge, supporting a loved one, or simply looking to strengthen your personal wellness toolkit.

WRAP® helps participants build personalised wellness strategies, recognise triggers, and develop crisis and post-crisis plans in a supportive, peer-led environment.
